I dont know if its related to sedan versus coupe, or build date, or what. The easiest way I can describe how to tell which assembly a G has is to remove it from the tank and look.

Both the assemblies are self adjusting in height by compressing against the floor of the fuel tank, but I am not sure that the range of travel is enough to compensate for the height difference between the Z33 vs Z34 assemblies.One thing that performance or racing enthusiasts might not pay enough attention to is the location of where they mount their regulator.

Is this a good way of tying into the fuel line, where this guy instructs to tie into, in the video. Then slide the other end over the metal fuel line and pipe clamp it, like the guy mentions in the vid? Then I imagine I can slip the 90 degree fuel hose fitting that the guy separates in the vid on the other end of the T fitting with that retainer clip?
I got Actron CPa fuel pressure kit, there some other fittings in there. The only other way I see to tie in is a fitting near the fuel rail.

That video is not a correct way to check fuel pressure. There is a Schrader Valve on the end of the fuel rail. Hook the gauge up to that. Not only do you need to make sure there is pressure, but it has to be the correct pressure. I recommend getting a service manual and forget YouTube.
To read running FP the fuel line at the fuel rail will need to be disconnected with a quick connect tool. Then fuel line connected as stated above and the gauge inline between the two points. FP should be 51 psi running.
